Elzeard has been registered in 2019.
Elzeard is a B-Corp company (social/solidarity-based economy) developing a digital software dedicated to market gardeners, vegetable and fruit growers. The Elzeard application aims at helping them in crop production management.
Elzeard is a software designed to help market gardeners, vegetable and fruit growers as well as the flower and aromatic plants growers manage their crop production activities.
Elzeard manages and monitors the entire production cycle, organising activities from crop planning to harvesting and delivery.
Elzeard, like a digital companion, provides services at every stage of production : assistance with planning and crop rotation, generation of crop plans, team management, data reporting and traceability, stock management, delivery notes, seasonal dashboards and history… Elzeard is a tool for everyday life in the fields.
With Elzeard, all your production data is at your fingertips! The services offered are designed to save time in a number of ways, to organise production more efficiently and relieve the mental burden... In the end, the producer has all the information he needs to optimise his production and easily meet regulatory, certification and customer requirements (Global GAP, organic certification, Nitrate Directive...).
Designed as a digital companion, Elzeard delivers valuable services at every stage of the production cycle. Dedicated to the cultivation activities for diversified crops, Elzeard can be customised to suit the specific context of each farmer (plots, beds, under-cover or open field crops ,arboriculture, technical crop itineraries…). With Elzeard you can have a single tool for several crop workshops (market< gardening, orchards, small fruits, field vegetables, arable crops…).
Co-creation with producers, technicians and advisors has been central to our project since 2019. More than 14 workshops and over 200 farmers have been seen throughout France to feed our thinking and to define Elzeard’s roadmap so far. Thanks to our customers, our partners and testers, we are able to propose and develop our tool, which responds as closely as possible to farmers’ expectations.
We have three categories of partners helping us to develop Elzeard :

Elzeard has chosen to adhere to the French DATA AGRI Act and to follow its recommendations in terms of farming data management. The aim of these recommendations is to protect producers and their farms by protecting their personal data. The DATA AGRI Act was drawn up by France’s leading agricultural and institutional bodies. One of its first principle is that the owner of the farm data is and remains the farmer : cf. Data Agri
Unlike a crop notebook, which records data statically at different periods, Elzeard application links operations together in a continuous production process in which data is collected as each stage and operation is carried out. Elzeard provides a means of organising your activities throughout this process. At the end of the production cycle, the farmer can retrieve all the information in just a few clicks.

Elzeard works with a simple browser and can be used on computers and tablets. For optimum use of the application, we recommend using Chrome or Firefox.

Elzeard allows you to manage several crops on the same bed, in space and time. It is possible to position crops in association using adapted crop itineraries (ITK).
Yes, the application can be used to manage fruit and vegetable crops, as well as PPAM and cut flowers from December 2023.
Yes, it is available in English, French and Spanish.
Elzeard is a multi-user solution at no extra cost. 1 or 10, the price remains the same! The production manager or crop manager can add collaborators to the farm with a simple e-mail invitation to the collaborator. The management of collaborators includes the notion of profiles and rights and does not require the management of user licences.
Elzeard offers its customers a range of services to help you get started with the application: video tutorials, technical and sales FAQs, product documentation and email support support.metier@elzeard.co to answer any questions. We also offer group demonstration sessions to help you get started.
No, not necessarily. The application is based on a simple web browser. It is intuitive and easy to use. The documents provided explain how it works, so you can get to grips with it quickly.
Yes, the application is regularly updated to introduce fixes and enhancements on an average cycle of three weeks. During these automatic updates, new functionalities are released to meet the various demands of diversified production activities.
Yes, behind Elzeard there is a team of 7 people working on developing and improving the application to extend its functional scope.
Data is collected throughout the activities of the crop production process. This data can be retrieved in various tables, such as the planting calendar, crop planning, traceability notebook, stocks and other season balances.
The data analysis functionalities are currently implemented in a DATA module and will be released as soon as possible. Elzeard won the I-NOV award and received support for this development. Advanced services will be linked to the local production context providing decision support for adapting and optimizing calculations, practices or responses to hazards.

You can find the reports in the COMMUNICATE module. A first season report will be available at the end of 2023.
The integration with other applications in terms of needs identification and design has begun for the following subjects: weather, direct sales and order management. These integrations are scheduled to start in the second quarter of 2024.
Terms of business
We are guided by the principle of fairness when it comes to setting prices, so that we can apply a fair rate to different producers depending on their situation. Prices are set according to a number of criteria : the surface area cultivated, whether or not there are several cultivation workshops, the situation of the producer (newcomer or in operation), whether or not the producer belongs to a producers network.
We offer special rates for new farmers, but also for sponsorship operations, such as for networked producer organizations.
Subscription to the Elzeard application requires a minimum commitment of 3 months.
Various payment options are available : direct debit, one-off payment or bank transfer.
You can cancel your subscription at the end of the month following the commitment period, by sending a cancellation email.
